The jackpot
Every claim rolls for the jackpot. A win throws away the ordinary amount and pays 100× the base rate instead. Your tier counts for nothing here, so a Gas Porsche wins exactly the same 100× that a Gas Clunker does. A jackpot is paid in full: the ceiling that trims an ordinary fill never reduces it, and the ceiling is set so the jackpot always fits under it.
The odds
The oddsEvery claim faces the same chance: one in a thousand. It does not move with the cars you hold, and it does not move with how many cars have ever been minted. The first pump on the site and the ten-thousandth roll the same dice.
The roll uses the server’s own randomness. It never uses the chain, and it never uses anything your phone sent. Every claim writes down the roll and the exact chance it faced, so you can check it afterwards.
One win at a time
One win at a timeA win locks the jackpot for 24 hours. The clock lives on chain and anyone can read it. If the pool cannot cover a win, the claim simply pays its ordinary amount instead.
